SNEHA THOMAS ARCHITECTS, founded in 2008 is based out of Kochi, Kerala. The design practice is built on the core values and principles of providing creative, functional and cost-efficient design solutions in the fields of Architecture, Interior Design & Landscaping. Our design thoughts and approaches are tailor-made to the client needs and hence vary from project to project. In our own values, we call it “Design of essentials”. Each project is the result of a collaboration of thoughts between us and our clients, which dwell upon the specific purpose and needs of the project, the function &aesthetics, environmental & sustainability, character &cost and finally creating a signature and lifestyle for our clients.
Ar. Sneha Thomas graduated in Bachelor of Architecture from College of Engineering, Trivandrum in 1999. She started her career by working with leading architectural practices in Kochi. After the initial years, took a sabbatical & lived in Australia and Malaysia before settling in Singapore and joining DP Architects to work as Project Architect. Returning to India in early 2008, SNEHA THOMAS ARCHITECTS was instituted in Kochi, Kerala. Passionate and dedicated to the craft, she works diligently to create meaningful and contextually responsive aesthetic spaces. A national merit scholarship holder, Ar. Sneha Thomas is a Life Member of Council of Architecture and Life Fellow of Indian Institute of Architects. She is actively involved in IIA, Kochi Centre and had served as its Treasurer.

Architectural services involve the planning and design of buildings and spaces and the supervision and project management during construction. We offer all of these services or a select few depending on the needs of the client.

We will begin by preparing preliminary design sketches based on your requirements and site conditions. We will review the options and incorporate your input.
This stage is a highly interactive phase and will have the design developed with client feedback into schematic design. This opportunity for review helps the client to understand the project before the construction starts so that any necessary changes can be made to the drawings prior to construction. It also ensures that the designs for buildings conform to zoning, building codes, and safety requirements.
The external detailing of the project to your choice is presented as computerized imagery. Animation videos can be done if required.
The expert consultants are coordinated to ensure a smooth process of construction depending on its complexity or as required by law.
The drawings required for the building permit is prepared as per the Govt. rules and regulations.
Working drawings are prepared to guide the contractor in construction. Plans, elevations, and other drawings with details are produced that will be used to erect the building. The architect works with the client to select appropriate materials and finishes to ensure a high-quality final building.
We will consult with you and advise you during construction. On-site visits will determine if construction is proceeding in general accordance with the contract and that the design, materials, and workmanship meets with acceptable standards.
